Which waste products can be detected by the LCD screen?

1. Pollution Inside the Box

In the dark field (or bright field), there are white (or blue-black) mottles, which are caused by the dirt inside the liquid crystal cell, commonly known as internal pollution. The reason for this is that before the glass is bonded, foreign matter is attached to the surface of the glass or the powder is not scattered during the powder spraying process.

2. Fingerprints

There are fingerprints in the display area of the LCD screen by visual inspection. This is the trace left by the operator's fingers touching the iTO surface of the glass and the surface of the PI before the glass is pasted.

3. Misorientation/Poor

If no dark field (or bright field) is observed in the visual inspection, this is the trace left by the operator's fingers touching the ITO surface and PI surface of the glass before the glass is pasted.

4. Frame Deformation

It is found that the width of the frame is uneven in the visual inspection, which is called frame deformation.

5. Rainbow

The phenomenon of color unevenness in the form of rings or bands observed in the LCD screen is called a rainbow.

6. Bubbles

Bubbles refer to the phenomenon that the liquid crystal box is not completely filled with liquid crystals and bubbles can still be seen during the visual inspection of the LCD screen. This is mainly due to mistakes in the process of perfusing liquid crystals.

7. Leakage

On the visual inspection platform, if a small amount of gas enters the liquid crystal cell seal or the seal is not firmly sealed, it is called air leakage.

8. Poor Incision

Poor cutting is the phenomenon of irregular glass edges caused by improper cutting or breaking.
