09.11.2023

LCD display is a liquid crystal display with touch function. When the industrial environment is poor or the user is not operating properly, the industrial LCD screen will fail and need regular cleaning and maintenance. So what are the cleaning methods? How to clean to avoid damage to the LCD screen?

1. Choose Microfiber Cloth

Distilled water or target commercial LCD screen cleaner.

2. Steps / Methods

① Choose a microfiber cloth. This is the ideal material for cleaning the LCD screen. Some devices come with this cloth, or you can carry sunglasses with you.

② Please turn off the device before cleaning. It is usually easy to see where to turn off the device when cleaning it.

③ Clean the screen with a small circle, this is more important than brushing and will remove most small imperfections.

3. Cautions

To avoid unnecessary trouble, please do not use overheated friction and sewage cleaning. Because this will only cause dirt and scratches on the screen, and then you have to clean it.

Avoid abrasives when cleaning the LCD screen, and do not use all cleaners containing ammonia unless the manufacturer clearly states the product's LCD screen. Ammonia may damage the screen.

Avoid spraying liquids or water directly onto the screen, as there is a risk of the liquid leaking into the unit and causing damage. Instead, spray the liquid all the way onto the microfiber, squeeze to remove excess liquid, and wipe.

Do not use paper towels or toilet paper. They contain wood fibers that scratch the surface of all plastic products. You may not be able to see the scratches the first time, but over time your screen will look as if it has been cleaned with very fine steel wool, which will darken the appearance and blur it somewhat.

Do not press hard on the screen when cleaning or the monitor may be damaged.
