EV Charger

EV Charger LCD Display Manufacturer

As electric vehicles (EVs) become more popular, the demand for touch screen displays and touch panels that can be used to control them continues to grow.

EV charging stations face some unique challenges when creating user displays. First, because the displays will be used outdoors, they must be considered for weather resistance, including UV, flood, water and dust resistance.

Outdoor EV charger displays may also be exposed to a variety of temperatures, which can affect the performance of key components and impact screen readability. At some point, these temperatures will reach extremes. Another challenge is screen readability in both bright sunlight and dark conditions.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI) and related national and international standards are always in question. In addition, low power consumption is a must, especially for sustainable, environmentally friendly designs such as electric vehicles.

One of the most effective solutions for EV charger displays is TFT LCD, a flat panel display that responds to touch but cannot be triggered by water droplets. They are sharper and brighter than typical LCDs when a partially reflective mirror layer is included between the backlight and the LCD, turning partially reflected ambient light into part of the LCD light source. There are a number of TFT LCDs on the market that meet the requirements of EV chargers, including resistance to common weather issues such as temperature, water and dust, excellent power efficiency, readability in all lighting conditions, and good EMC performance.

Electric vehicles are powered by electricity, so many public places need to install EV charging posts to solve the charging problem. People can use a specific charging card to swipe the card on the human-machine interface provided by the EV charger to perform the corresponding charging method, charging time, cost data printing and other operations. The EV charger can display data such as charging amount, cost, charging time and so on.

When choosing the best display for your electric car charger, you should consider the size, type and features that are important to you. The size of the display will determine how much information can be displayed at a time, the type of display will determine the quality of the image, and features such as sunlight readability and wide viewing angles will determine how easy it is to view the display in all conditions.
