Several Parameters You Have To Know When Choosing An LCD Display

11.28.2023

There are many brands of LCD screens in the market, and the styles are also diverse. In this way, you will inevitably encounter some difficulties when you choose, so I don't know how to choose. Next, I will show you the simple and easy way to choose the LCD screen.

1. Look at brightness: Brightness is an important indicator of LCD monitors. Low brightness caused by technical reasons will directly affect the visual experience of LCD monitors, and the experience is even more difficult to talk about. The brightness index is usually expressed in cd / m2, and the image performance of a liquid crystal display that reaches 200cd / m2 may already surpass the traditional CRT display. Of course, the higher the brightness index, the higher the contrast and the color of the screen. The more vivid and bright, the current mainstream 15-inch LCD monitors have brightness of 200 ~ 350cd / m2. Technically speaking, the brightness and uniformity of liquid crystal displays are related to the number, brightness and arrangement of the backlight tubes.

2. Look at the contrast: Because it is difficult to accurately measure the contrast with the instrument, it often becomes one of the more controversial indicators. But one thing is the consensus of the industry-the greater the contrast, the better, it must be matched with brightness to create beautiful colors. Only a proper contrast can make the LCD display the ideal gray scale and color scale, so as to achieve a full and rich image effect.

3. Viewing angle: This indicator defines the range in which the picture can be viewed. If the viewing angle is relatively small and the user's line of sight is slightly off (this is not directly facing the screen), the brightness of the picture outside the viewable area is weak, the display picture cannot be seen clearly, or even cannot be viewed at all.

4. Look at the response time: This indicator determines the performance of the liquid crystal display on fast moving pictures. If the response time is short, the picture is clean and clear. Long response time may cause the display to have afterimages and smearing, especially when playing fast pictures. As time goes by, too much time will inevitably cause a delay, which becomes a major obstacle to enjoying DVDs and playing games. The indicator unit of this technology is ms. 25ms has become the standard response time of most LCD displays. Although it is still incomparable with CRT monitors, there is no longer any obvious tailing phenomenon when watching DVDs and playing most games. For this indicator, it should be noted that many manufacturers use half-response time instead of full-time.

5. Look at the value: the reason why LCD monitors are attracting attention and favor from consumers, in addition to its own non-radiation and other characteristics, the novel shape design and does not take up too much space is its highlight. Make your favorite style when choosing.
